Terms and conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern all services performed by Royalty Film Services, including window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, vinyl wrapping, and related automotive appearance services. By scheduling an appointment, submitting a vehicle, or purchasing any service, the customer (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to the following terms.
1. Appointments & Scheduling
1.1. Appointments are required for all services unless otherwise stated.
1.2. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
1.3. Rescheduling must occur at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
2. Vehicle Condition Requirements
2.1. Vehicles must be delivered clean and free of excessive dirt, debris, pet hair, sap, tar, or contamination. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
2.2. Pre-existing damage (scratches, dents, rust, paint defects, glass imperfections, etc.) will be documented before work begins.
2.3. Client acknowledges that aftermarket parts, repainted panels, and older vehicles may present unique risks that can affect installation results.
3. Window Tinting
3.1. Client is responsible for ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania tint laws (75 Pa.C.S. § 4524) prior to installation.
3.2. Company is not responsible for fines, citations, inspection failures, or legal penalties related to window tint.
3.3. After installation, minor haze, moisture pockets, and cloudiness are normal and may take up to 2–4 weeks to fully cure depending on weather conditions.
3.4. Windows must remain closed for at least 48 hours after installation.
4. Paint Protection Film (PPF)
4.1. PPF requires a curing period of 7–14 days, during which minor bubbles or haziness may be visible.
4.2. Edges may lift during curing if exposed to dirt, waxes, or improper washing; this is not considered an installation defect.
4.3. PPF is designed to reduce damage, but does not guarantee protection from all chips, impacts, staining, or scratches.
4.4. Warranty coverage varies by film manufacturer and is subject to their terms.
5. Ceramic Coating
5.1. Ceramic coatings improve gloss and protection but do not prevent all scratches, etching, staining, or water spotting.
5.2. Cure time is 24 hours for initial contact and 5–7 days for full chemical resistance.
5.3. Failure to follow proper maintenance procedures may void warranty coverage.
5.4. Company is not responsible for damage caused by automatic car washes, improper cleaning, or environmental factors.
6. Vinyl Wraps
6.1. Vinyl films may show seams, edges, and relief cuts necessary for proper installation.
6.2. Vinyl wrap longevity varies based on climate, storage, maintenance, and film type.
6.3. Wraps may not adhere properly to failing clear coat, rust, or heavily damaged paint.
6.4. Company is not responsible for paint lifting when removing vinyl from repainted or compromised surfaces.
7. Payment Terms
7.1. Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless otherwise stated.
7.2. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred once at the Company’s discretion.
7.3. Failure to pay may result in the vehicle being held until balance is satisfied, in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
7.4. With all credit/debit card payment, a processing fee will be applied to total.
8. Warranty & Limitations
8.1. All warranties are limited to installation workmanship unless a manufacturer warranty applies.
8.2. Warranties do not cover:
Abuse, negligence, accidents, or improper maintenance
Environmental fallout (salt, road debris, chemicals, bird droppings, etc.)
Automatic/brush car wash damage
Normal wear and tear
Pre-existing or underlying paint defects
8.3. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with photo documentation.

10.2. Corrections or adjustments are offered at the Company’s discretion.
10.3. No refunds are issued for services already performed.
11. Customer Responsibilities
